Assessment 5
For this assessment, the strategy will focus on self-assessment, allowing students to reflect on their own speaking performance. The macro skill being evaluated is speaking, and the activity will require students to say sentences aloud, assessing their pronunciation and fluency.
Each student will receive a self-assessment checklist on a
piece of paper. The checklist will include simple statements with emoji faces (😊 😐 ☹️). After saying their sentence, students
will reflect on their own performance
and choose the emoji that best represents how they feel about their
pronunciation and confidence.
