For this assessment, students will be exposed to an activity incorporating a check-list assessment strategy focused on listening. They will be evaluated using a rubric that assesses specific criteria. Through this activity, students will receive feedback based on their areas of weakness.

 Macro skill: Listening

 Age of student: 4 years old

 Topic: Emotions and feelings

 Performance indicator: Students will be able to choose the correct answer by listening to an audio, and mark the correct answer based on what they hear.

 Description of the activity: The teacher will provide each student with a worksheet featuring images of people expressing different emotions. Then, the teacher will play an audio recording (repeating it as needed) that describes how each person feels. Students will listen carefully and mark the correct emotion on their worksheet based on what they hear.
