Assessment 2
For this assessment, students will be exposed
to an activity incorporating a demonstration assessment focused on
pronunciation. They will be evaluated using a rubric that assesses specific
criteria. Through this activity, students will receive feedback based on their
areas of weakness.
Age of
student: 4 years old
Description
of the activity: The teacher will hold a flashcard featuring a fruit or
vegetable and demonstration of its pronunciation, exaggerating the sounds
(e.g., "too-maaa-too"). Students will carefully observe and then
repeat the word, mimicking the teacher’s pronunciation. Afterward, the teacher
will pass a real or toy fruit/vegetable to a student. Each student will apply
their pronunciation skills by saying the name of the item before passing it to
the next classmate.
