Assessment 1

For this assessment, students will be exposed to an activity incorporating a performance task assessment focused on reading comprehension. They will be evaluated using a rubric that assesses specific criteria. Through this activity, students will receive feedback based on their areas of weakness.

Topic: Classroom rules

Performance indicator: Students will be able to demonstrate comprehension of common classroom rules by participating in an interactive activity where they will attempt to read and match the meaning with corresponding pictures

Description of the activity: The teacher will place written rule cards around the classroom, along with flashcards that visually represent each rule. The teacher will then guide the students to read each sentence aloud and help them match it with the correct flashcard. To check understanding, the teacher will ask individual students to read a sentence and identify the corresponding flashcard.
