For this assessment, students will be exposed
to an activity incorporating a performance task assessment focused on reading

Description
of the activity: The teacher will place written rule cards around the

will then guide the students to read each sentence aloud and help them match it
with the correct flashcard. To check understanding, the teacher will ask
individual students to read a sentence and identify the corresponding flashcard.
